2011 Dementia SA Conference

The 2011 Dementia SA conference was held on the 25th and 26th October 2011, at The Pavilion Conference Centre.

This conference drew great interest from the industry in Southern Africa and ensured a healthy exchange of views. Delegates were provided with the unique experience of gaining the latest information with regards to issues being faced by the industry, with the event drawing both local and international speakers. The conference explored some of the global methods and best practices in caring for people with dementia and was well-attended by industry leaders, government, opinion makers, influencers, carers, medical practitioners, health and residential care facility owners, their managers and employees, NGO’s and legislators.

The conference afforded the opportunity to discuss matters of common interest and concerns and provide an understanding of different solutions to challenges.
